Post-Resuscitation Care and Temperature Management
Therapeutic temperature is a component of post-resuscitation care. It has been known to be effective in improving the survival rate and neurologic functional outcome of patients after cardiac arrest and recommended by international guidelines, but the supporting evidence is limited, and the target temperature associated with the best outcome is unknown.
