Webinar: Lung Protection in Anaesthesia

The ESAIC has a long history of supporting research and coordinating clinical trials via its network. Such a very successful ESAIC clinical network is the PROtective VEntilation Network (PROVENet), consisting of a group of preclinical and clinical investigators who perform multicenter clinical studies, randomized controlled trials, and meta-analyses on ventilation strategies (i.e. PROVHILO, PROVEnet, MOPED, ENCORE, ARCTIC-I, SQUEEZE studies). Despite years of research and many publications in this field, the choice of the best ventilation strategy for each individual patient remains a point of debate.
