About the ESAIC and Focus Meeting

The European Society of Anaesthesiology (ESAIC) is the leading organisation for anaesthesiology professionals. The ESAIC’s global priority is to maintain the highest standards of practice and safety in anaesthesia, critical care, pain, and perioperative medicine, especially when anaesthesiologists are called to deal with highly specialized areas, like maternal and paediatric.

The key role of anaesthesiologists in the care of fragile populations is highlighted in the annual ESAIC Focus Meeting “ Mother & Child”, which addresses the fields of obstetric and paediatric anaesthesia with the aim of offering comprehensive understanding of the two subjects merging them into a single one.
