The Basic and Clinical Sciences Anaesthetic Course (BCSAC)
The Basic and Clinical Sciences Anaesthetic Course (BCSAC) is intended as one of the tools suitable for the preparation of the European Diploma in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care by improving the candidate’s understanding and knowledge of different areas of basic and clinical sciences.
The course is an expansion of the well-established Basic Science Anaesthesia Course (BSAC) which has been successfully run since 2012 with the introduction of the clinical component in 2020.
The Committee for European Education in Anaesthesiology (CEEA) Courses
The CEEA (Committee for European Education in Anaesthesiology) is a joint committee of ESAIC (European Society of Anaesthesiology) and WFSA (World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists). The CEEA organises refresher courses in anaesthesiology.
The CEEA represents around 60 regional centres for Continuing Medical Education (CME) in Anaesthesiology. All these centres provide courses according to the same schedule – a cycle of six courses covering all the fields of anaesthesia, intensive care, emergency medicine and acute pain management.
