The elections for above-mentioned positions (3 Non-Officers) will be held during the Council Meeting on 2 June 2023.

Terms of office:

The terms of office shall start on 1 January 2024 and last until 31 December 2025.

The composition of the ESAIC Board of Directors and the election criteria are detailed in Title VIII of our Society’s By-laws published on our website.

Attention is drawn to the following points:

  • Each candidate shall be an ESAIC Active Member for at least three years prior to her / his election to the Board of Directors.
  • At any time, at least three (3) of the Officers and/or Non-Officers must be Council Members at the time of their election as Officers or Non-Officers (§34.4 a)
  • There shall be no more than two Officers and/or Non-Officers working in the same country.
  • Elected Board members cannot hold a Society Committee or Subcommittee Chair position (§52.2).

 

How to apply?

Please send your application form, a short introduction video (max. 5 min.), and the ESAIC Code-of-Conduct duly signed to boardelections@esaic.org no later than 3 April 2023 (23.59 CET).

Note that your application documents will be circulated to the Council Members and that you will be requested to introduce yourself and present your motivation and goals during the in-person Council Meeting on 2 June in the frame of Euroanaesthesia 2023 in Glasgow. Each candidate will have a 5 minute slot to do so, followed by a round of questions and answers from the audience.
