Specialist areas of anaesthesiology, critical care, emergency medicine and pain management are already represented in the ESAIC as subcommittees of the Scientific Programme Committee. Many of these society members are also ESAIC Active Members contributing to the ESAIC educational, academic and scientific efforts within their chosen specialist area.

Specialty Representation within the ESAIC

In order to ensure that Specialist Societies are fully represented:

  • One representative member of the relevant Specialist Society will become an ex-officio member of the relevant Scientific Programme subcommittee.
  • One representative member of the relevant Specialist Society will be part of a committee representing the Specialist Societies in Anaesthesiology (committee created of a minimum of 5 societies).

Membership Application Criteria

  • The Specialist Society must have an international membership without restrictions
  • Must be based in and active in Europe
  • Must be a recognised sub-speciality of Anaesthesiology, Critical Care, Emergency Medicine or Pain Management
